K-3 Visa for Spouse

Spouses of U.S. citizens, and the spouse's children, can come to the United States on nonimmigrant visas (K-3 and K-4) and wait in the United States to complete the immigration process. Before a K-4 visa can be issued to a child, the parent must have a K-3 visa or be in K-3 status.

  1. Police certificates from all places lived in since the age of 16
  2. Birth certificates
  3. Marriage certificate for spouse
  4. Death and divorce certificates from any previous spouses
  5. Medical examination (except vaccinations)

  1. Gather Documents;
  2. Attorney evaluation;
  3. Sign representative Agreement;
  4. Attorney prepare and submit, form I-130 for your spouse form I-129F for your spouse and children;
  5. USCIS Approval and transfer documents to State Dept.;
  6. When the embassy receives the file from the State Department, they send a Packet 3 to the beneficiary.
  7. Attorney help to prepare Packet 3.
  8. returning the form in Packet 3 (DS-156 and DS-156K) certifying that all required documents have been obtained.
  9. The Embassy will send out Packet 4 and scheduling an appointment for a visa interview;
  10. Consulate Visa interview.
